Objet trouve’, a French term describing art created from undisguised, but often modified, objects or products that are not normally considered materials from which art is made, often because they already have a non-art function. In this exhibit, artists reveal the unique ways to use found objects and breathe meaning and life into them, evoking memories, sparking connections and building upon themes. Even the most common of objects, discarded as no longer useful, can, in the hands of an artist, be given new purpose and life.Â
